Saved searches, saved markets and alerts
You don't need to check Zi-Find every day. Save the searches and markets you care about and we email you when something new matches.
Save a marketplace search
- Open Marketplace and set the search you want: a city, the Type, Beds and Rent filters.
- Click Save this search under the filters.
- Give it a name if you like (optional), then click Save.
Your saved searches appear in a Saved list under the filter bar. Each one shows whether anything matches. "Nothing matches yet — we'll email you when something does" means exactly that. From the list you can:
- click a saved search to apply it again
- switch its email alerts on or off with the bell
- delete it
You need at least a city or a filter set before saving; an empty search has nothing to alert you about.
Save a market
- Open Market Insights and search for a city, or open one from Trending markets.
- On the market page, click Save market.
Saved markets show under Saved markets on the Market Insights page. When new listings go live in a market you saved, we email you. Posting a request under Tell us what you're looking for saves that market for you automatically.
Set a market alert
On any market page, click Set alert, choose what to watch, enter a threshold, and click Create alert. Two kinds of alert are offered:
- Occupancy goes above a percentage you set.
- Active listings go above a number of short-term rental listings you set.
Both are checked against fresh market data, and alerts arrive by email. Your alerts are listed on the Market Insights page under Your alerts; click Manage alerts to see or remove them.
Control what we send you
Open Account, then Notifications. The settings that matter here are:
- Saved search matches
- Market alert crossed
- New property emails
Turn any of them off and we stop sending that kind of email. Your saved searches stay in place.
Good to know
- Market data comes from a third-party source and refreshes about monthly, so market alerts move slowly. Saved search matches are about new listings and can arrive any day.
- An email about a new match does not reserve the property. Open it and message the lister quickly if it fits.
I saved a search but never got an email. Why?
Either nothing new has matched yet (the saved search will say so), or the email alerts for that search are switched off, or Saved search matches is off in your notification settings. Also check your spam folder and see Not receiving emails.
