A page says I need to upgrade

3 min read · Updated 2026-10-19

An upgrade prompt means the feature you clicked is part of a plan your account does not have in its current workspace. Most of the time that is expected. If you already pay and still see one, the cause is usually the wrong workspace, a failed payment, or a feature that belongs to a higher plan.

Which plan unlocks what

FeaturePlan that includes it
Browsing and contacting marketplace listingsPro Host or Elite Host (operators)
Check an address (revenue estimate and go/no-go)Elite Host
130 property searches a month worked by our networkElite Host
Sharing contact details and links in messagesPro Host or above for operators; Finder Pro or above for finders and realtors
More than 1 active listingFinder Pro (up to 7)
Unlimited listings and unlimited operator demandFinder Pro+
Studio, Placements, Contacts, Inbox, Underwriting and AutomationsFinder Pro+

Owners, co-hosts and vendors do not need a plan for their own tools.

I already pay. Why am I seeing this?

1. You are in a different workspace

If your account holds more than one role, each workspace shows the tools and plans for that role. Finder plans and operator plans are separate subscriptions, so a finder plan does not unlock Elite Host features, and an operator plan does not unlock Finder Pro+ tools. Check Switch workspace at the top of the sidebar and pick the workspace that matches your plan. See Switching between roles.

2. Your last payment failed

If a payment did not go through, some paid operator pages ask you to fix your payment before they open. Open Account, then Billing. If you see Your last payment failed, click Update payment method. Access returns once a payment succeeds. See Failed payments.

3. The feature is on a higher plan

Pro Host does not include Check an address, and Finder Pro does not include the Pro+ business tools. Compare plans in Pricing breakdown and upgrade from Account, then Billing, then Change plan.

4. You hit a limit

Some prompts appear only when you reach your plan's limit, for example when you try to publish a second listing on the free plan, an eighth on Finder Pro, or work more operator requests than your monthly allowance on Free or Finder Pro. Remove a listing or upgrade.

5. Your plan ended

If you cancelled, access stays until the end of the period you paid for and then stops. Your Billing tab shows the end date. Choose a plan again to restore access.

6. You were sent to a second account

If you have two Zi-Find accounts under different emails, the plan may be on the other one. Sign out and request a login link for the email you paid with.

How to upgrade

  1. Click the upgrade button on the prompt, or open Account, then Billing, then Change plan.
  2. Pick the plan. Upgrades on an existing subscription are charged the difference immediately, and the feature unlocks straight away.

If you have no plan yet, you go through a secure checkout while signed in, so the plan attaches to your current account.

Good to know

  • Coach and partner students may have access set up by their program. If something your coach promised is locked, ask your coach or contact us through Help.
  • After paying, refresh the page if the prompt does not disappear on its own.
