How to build and publish your website with Builder
Site in the Builder workspace gives you a public website for your rental services business. Pick the strategy you pursue and Zi-Find starts you with ready-written pages, which you then edit, brand and publish.
Create your site
- Open Site in the Builder sidebar.
- Under Build your site, pick the strategy you pursue:
- Co-hosting — managing short-term rentals for owners.
- Mid-term rentals — furnished stays of 30 days or more.
- Sublease / arbitrage — sourcing and placing approved units.
- Click Create my site. Your home page is filled with starter copy for that strategy.
Edit your pages
The Pages tab is the editor.
- Each page is made of sections. Add any of these: Hero, Features, Text block, FAQ, Call to action and Footer.
- Edit the text in each section and watch the Preview beside it.
- Click Save to keep your changes on that page. An "Unsaved" state means your edits are not stored yet; switching pages asks before discarding them.
- Add more pages, or delete one you do not need.
Set your look
Along the top of the editor you can change:
- Template — the overall layout.
- Primary, Accent, Text and Background colors — pick from the brand presets or enter a hex code.
- Logo — upload your own; without one, your site shows the Zi-Find mark.
- Strategy — switching strategy rebuilds your home page from the new strategy's starter content and replaces the home page sections. You will be asked to confirm first.
Publish
Click Publish. Once your site is live, View live opens it in a new tab. After later edits, click Republish.
Publishing goes live with the last saved version of each page. If you have unsaved edits, you are warned before publishing so nothing on screen gets left out by surprise.
Use your own domain
Open the Domains tab.
- Type your domain (for example yourdomain.com) and add it.
- Follow the setup guide. It names the exact records to add at your domain provider and which box each value goes in.
- Click verify. If something is not right yet, the message names the problem and the box to change.
- Choose where the domain points: Your site (once it is published), your default flow, or a specific flow.
You also get a free address on our domain that can point at your site or a flow. It cannot be removed.
After a domain verifies, there can be one final connection step on our side before it goes live. If it is not showing your site after a day, sign in and open Help or use the chat bubble.
Good to know
- Your logo and business name are shared with the rest of your builder tools. Set them once in Builder settings.
- To send website visitors into a guided signup, publish a client flow and point a domain at it, or share its link. See Client intake flows.
