Partner settings: your account, team, underwriting and data sources

Settings in the partner portal has four tabs: Account, Onboarding flow, Team and Data sources. This article covers the account, team and data tabs, plus the Underwrite tool. The onboarding flow has its own article: How to build your students' onboarding flow.

Account

Your profile and sign-in details, your notification preferences, and anything else tied to your login. Partners have no Zi-Find subscription to manage here — your partnership is billed through partner invoicing.

Team

Add the people who help you coach.

1. Open Settings and choose Team.
2. Enter a teammate's full name and email.
3. Pick the access you intend them to have — for example an account manager who only sees student submissions, or an analyst with read-only reporting.
4. Click Add. Remove someone at any time with the remove button on their row.

Teammates you add appear in the Assigned coach dropdown on each student's coaching record, and in the Choose your coach step of your onboarding flow.

Scoped permissions are on our roadmap. For now, the Team tab records who is on your team and the access you intend for them; it does not yet give each teammate a separately limited login.

Underwrite a student's deal

If Underwrite is in your sidebar, use it to check whether a property's numbers work before your student commits.

1. Open Underwrite.
2. Under Underwrite a student's submission, choose Unconfirmed or Confirmed to list your students' submitted properties in that state.
3. Pick a property. Zi-Find pulls nearby short-term rental comparables, the market's average daily rate and occupancy, and a 12-month revenue projection.
4. Use the calculator to pressure-test the rent against the estimated revenue with your student.

To check a market without a specific submission, use Or underwrite any market at the bottom of the page.

Underwriting estimates are a starting point, not a guarantee of income. Your student should still check the lease, the building rules and local short-term rental rules, and talk to a licensed professional where needed.

Data sources

Choose where your underwriting numbers come from. AirROI is live today. AirDNA, BNBCalc and Mashvisor are listed as coming soon and cannot be selected yet. When more than one source is available and enabled, their averages are blended into one estimate.

Good to know

• Underwriting runs on paid market data, so there is a daily limit on how many you can run. If you hit it, try again the next day.
• If your partnership is set up for client searches, Underwrite may not appear in your sidebar.
• For help with any setting, sign in and open Help, or use the chat bubble in the bottom corner.
