How to list your sublease-approved property (free)
To list a property, create a free owner account, open Add a property, enter the address and a few details, and press Submit for review. Our team reviews owner listings before they go live, usually within 24 to 72 hours.
Step 1: Create your owner account
- Go to zi-find.com and choose Sign up.
- Pick the card I own a property and want to list it.
- Enter your name and email.
- Check your inbox and click the confirmation link. It works once and expires in 7 days. Nothing is set up until you click it — this is how we keep fake accounts out.
The link signs you in. You don't need a password.
Step 2: Add the property
- In the sidebar, click Add a property (or Add a property on the My Properties page).
- Start typing the Property address and pick the matching suggestion. Picking a suggestion places the property correctly on the map, and we try to fill in bedrooms, bathrooms, and square footage for you. Anything you have already typed is never overwritten.
- Check or fill in Bedrooms, Bathrooms, and Sqft.
- Enter the Monthly rent (USD) you are asking.
- Optionally, fill in What you want operators to know — for example: "STR-friendly building, no HOA approval needed, 3-month minimum lease, parking included."
- Press Submit for review.
You'll see Your property is in. A short optional question — how you heard about us — may appear; answer it or press No thanks. It has no effect on your listing.
Step 3: Review
Owner listings are checked by a person before operators can see them. On My Properties the status shows:
- In review — waiting for our team.
- Changes requested — we need something fixed. A note on the card says what.
- Live on marketplace — operators can now find it and message you.
While you wait, add photos. Listings with photos get far more operator interest. See Managing your listing.
What makes a strong listing
- Photos, with your best one first — it becomes the cover.
- Rent filled in. Operators skip listings without it.
- Clear terms: what stays you allow (short-term, mid-term, or both), minimum lease length, parking, furnishing.
My Properties shows a Finish this listing line on any card still missing photos, rent, or bedrooms.
Good to know
- Only list a property you own or are authorised to lease, and where you are willing to approve subleasing in writing.
- If the address is already live on Zi-Find, you'll see "An active listing already exists for this address." Sign in and open Help or use the chat bubble if you think that listing is wrong.
- You can list as many of your own properties as you like, free. Each one is reviewed before it goes live.
- If someone sent you a personal link to list your property, use that link — see Claiming a listing created for you.
